Amazon Prime membership rules are changing starting January 2025 in India. The streaming platform is bringing on new limits and caps.
Amazon Prime membership terms in India are changing as the streaming platform is introducing a cap on the number of TVs that can stream content simultaneously under a single account.
Starting January 2025, Prime members will be able to access Prime Video on up to five devices, with a limit of two TVs. Users who watch Prime Video on more than two TVs have to purchase a separate subscription for the third TV.
This will be an end to ‘stream on up to five devices with no restrictions on the type of device’. Amazon offers Prime membership at a monthly price of Rs 299, quarterly Rs 599, and annually Rs 1499. There is Annual Prime Lite for Rs 799 and Prime Shopping Edition for Rs 399 per year.
