A mild earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale jolted Delhi-NCR on Monday morning. According to reports, the quake occurred at a depth of 5 km, with its epicentre near Delhi.
The tremors, which lasted for a few seconds, caused panic among residents, especially in residential areas.
Many people rushed out of their homes in fear as the ground shook briefly.
So far, there have been no reports of any damage or casualties. Authorities are monitoring the situation closely for further updates.
