Apple’s Third Product Launch Event: Mac Computers With Own Chip!

Apple’s third product launch event this year is happening now. In a revolution, Apple announced its first homemade chip for the Mac, the M1, instead of Intel.

Apple launched three Macs powers by the new chip M1, the new MacBook Air laptop, a new 13-inch MacBook Pro laptop, and Mac Mini Desktop computer.

Apple so far used Intel chips in its Mac computers ever since the beginning in 2005 and now with the introduction of their own new chip, Apple will be using the chips based on the same technology like iPhones and iPads in Macs as well.

Mac Book Air is priced at $999, 13-inch Macbook Pro is priced at $1299, Mac Mini at $699.

Apple 13-inch MacBook Pro

The new Apple 13-inch MacBook Pro will be having the new M1 chip. This laptop is designed for programmers, graphics professionals, and other users who need a powerful machine without going for a 16-inch size. The new MacBook Pro can have up to 17 hours of web browsing battery life.

Mac Mini

Apple’s Mac Mini is the lower end desktop without a built-in screen. Apple claims the M1 model has a CPU that is three times faster.

Apple MacBook Air

Apple’s MacBook Air is an entry-level, thin, and light laptop. Air chip has 8 cores laptop, that makes it faster than the previous-gen by 3.5 times. Apple MacBook Air will have 15 hours of browsing battery or 18 hours watching videos.
