Flop Show: SRH Lost To LSG In Vizag!

In the tenth match of the Indian Premier League, held in Visakhapatnam, Sun Risers Hyderabad faced a defeat when it clashed with Delhi Capitals. In fact, Vizag is Delhi’s second home but the Telugu team was defeated due to their poor performance. DC won by 7 wickets.

Toss: SRH won the toss and decided to bat first.

First Innings:
The first-time batting helps SRH to put a big score on board since they would get the advantage of the hitters. But, the team failed in the last game as well. Except for Aniket Varma, none of the top hitters made an impression in the batting lineup. Nitish Kumar Reddy registered a duck while Abhishek was runout for 1 run. Travis Head, Klaseen, Ishan Kishan and Abhinav Manohar failed. Mitchell Starc took 5 wickets by conceding 35 runs in 3.4 overs. Kuldeep Yadav took 3 wickets and displayed good bowling. SRH scored 164 in 20 overs.

Second Innings:
Delhi Capitals took up attacking play against the bowlers of Sun Risers Hyderabad. There was never a minute where SRH looked at its best. The game was completely one-sided. Jake Fraser-McGruk scored 38 runs and Fad Du Plessis scored a half century. Abhishek Porel won the match in style with a sixer. He scored 34 runs in 18 balls. Zeeshan Ansari took 2 wickets but he is expensive.

In a nutshell:
Compared to their previous game, there was absolutely no improvement in the game play of Sun Risers Hyderabad. The batting is weak. Ishan Kishan who scored a century in the first match was out for single digit in the next two matches. Star players Abhishek, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Head and Klaseen are also struggling which is a concern. The bowling lineup of SRH definitely lacks a wicket-taker. Although Shami is there, he is also not able to take wickets during crucial times. Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, are continuing their winning streak. They are good in both batting and bowling departments.
