The sight of a leopard has become frequent on the Tirumala ghat road. It is not only frightening but also life-threatening. Even before we forgot the incident that happened last time, a new video surfaced online where the devotees caught a leopard on camera.
In the viral video going on social media, a leopard was seen moving on the Tirumala first ghat road near Vinayaka Swamy temple, just a kilometer from Alipiri on Monday evening.
A motorist who spotted the leopard immediately alerted the TTD vigilance official at Alipiri. The leopard was spotted near the footpath yesterday, and the devotees climbing up the hill were tense.
As of now, TTD has not issued any statement but the local forest officials were alerted.
