“Pilot Saved 2000 Lives,” Eyewitness Reveals Shocking Details

The Air India plane that took off from Ahmedabad which was bound to London on thursday crashed into a medical hostel building. The crash resulted in more than 250 fatalities. However, the investigation over the same is currently underway. Meanwhile, the eyewitnesses shared some touching stories regarding the accident.

It was all of a sudden and no one would have ever predicted that the flight would crash in such a disastrous manner. An eyewitness recalled that if the flight had crashed into a well-occupied residential area, the deaths would have been more than 1500. According to the eye witness, the pilot had tried his best to control the plane.

“We were playing cricket when the crash happened. The plane flew right above us — it was very close. There was complete chaos after the accident. We rushed to the site and managed to rescue around 15 to 20 people. Usually, flights fly higher, but this one was dangerously close to the homes. Salute to the pilot for crashing the aircraft slightly away from the residential area — otherwise, 1,500 to 2,000 people could have easily died,” the eye witness said.

On the other hand, the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau officials recovered the black box and began their investigation.
