Bomb Threat To Srihari Kota’s SHAR

Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota (SHAR) received a bomb threat at midnight. The Chennai Command Control received phone calls about a potential bomb threat and terrorist attack. The officials were immediately alerted, and they are conducting intensive checks. CISF forces and Coast Guard are on duty in carrying out the checks.

Additionally, police officials conducted extensive checks at SHAR’s first gate and the SHAR employees’ colony under the leadership of Naidupeta DSP Chenchu Babu.

However, it is unclear whether this is a hooligan’s plan or a genuine threat. Due to this, the forces are on alert and are searching SHAR for any possible threat. It is known that India is making rapid progress in space experiments at the global level. At such a time, a large number of CISF jawans are combing the forests, expecting any mishap to occur. They are also inspecting the control rooms and several colonies located there.

On the other hand, special teams are also conducting checks there on suspicion that someone may have infiltrated through the sea route.
