When Pakistan Requested India For Ceasefire?

It wasn’t long before India and Pakistan were in completely conflicting situations as the two countries were exchanging fire across the border. This is primarily due to the heinous terrorism attack of Pakistan on Indian soil, which then triggered Operation Sindoor.

Pakistan tried to play hard sport in the opening exchanges, but they simply could not take the unrelenting attacks of the Indian Army. This was precisely when Pakistan called for a ceasefire agreement, and here is what the Deputy Prime Minister of the country had to say about the same.

Pakistan deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar stated that Pakistan called for ceasefire agreement after India hit their two airbases in Rawalpindi and Punjab, respectively.

While interacting with a national media channel in Pakistan, the deputy Prime Minister stated that Pakistan was compelled to call for an agreement and had to involve the United States to find common ground. This happened shortly after India hit to air bases in Pakistan and the loss was unpalatable.

Both these strategic targets happened to be highly sensitive areas for the Pakistani military and the country could not take it when India struck them down.

At the end of the story, it is interesting to learn that Pakistan, as confirmed by their deputy PM initiated ceasefire talks, unable to bear the might of the Indian Air Force.
