Apple has taken a major step to grow its presence in India by securing a massive office space in Bengaluru. The tech giant has signed a 10-year lease deal worth over Rs 1,000 crore for a workspace of 2.7 lakh square feet.
The office is spread across nine floors and includes parking and other facilities. Apple will pay over Rs 6 crore every month as rent, with a yearly hike planned. This makes it one of the biggest office lease agreements in the country.
Industry experts say this move shows Apple’s long-term commitment to India. The new space will give room for its engineering, R&D, and software development teams, while also creating more local jobs.
Apple is already the largest exporter of iPhones from India, and this expansion highlights its strategy to strengthen operations, support exports, and build deeper roots in the Indian market.
