Take A Look At Team India’s New Retro Jersey

The Indian cricket team is touring Australia and will play three T20Is, ODIs and four Test matches. The tour will kick-start with limited overs game on November 27th in Sydney. For this team India will be wearing a new jersey and star batsman Shikhar Dhawan has flaunted it taking to his Twitter.

“New jersey, renewed motivation. Ready to go,” tweeted Dhawan with the tricolor emoji. If you take a close look at the jersey, this is partly similar to team India’s jersey from the 1992 cricket world cup. Also the new jersey is being presented by MPL Sports who was recently given the contract of providing kits to team India after Nike’s term ended.

Meanwhile, cricketers Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma have been ruled out of the first two test matches. Rohit, who suffered a hamstring tear during the IPL and in his absence, the BCCI has asked Shreyas Iyer to remain in Australia after wrapping up the ODIs and T20Is.

Virat Kohli will head to India after the first Test match and Rahane will lead the team India. But it will be difficult for the visitors to fill the gap of Kohli simultaneously it will be a good chance for youngsters like Mayank Agarwal, Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer and Shubham Gill to register their place in team India.
