Brahmanandam has finally reacted to a viral video that claimed he pushed former Telangana minister Errabelli Dayakar. He posted a new selfie video explaining that the viral clip was completely misunderstood and that the comments online were unnecessary.
He said he and Dayakar have been close friends for almost 30 years and are like family. Because of that bond, he was surprised that people believed he would disrespect him.
The incident happened at the MB 50 event held to celebrate Mohan Babu’s 50 years in cinema. Dayakar casually asked Brahmanandam for a selfie, but since the program was about to start, Brahmanandam simply said “Not now” and moved toward the stage.
Someone recorded this moment and posted it online, which made it look like he pushed Dayakar Rao. The clip went viral, and people began commenting without knowing the actual context.
Brahmanandam said he later spoke to Dayakar Rao, and both laughed about how the simple moment was blown out of proportion. He confirmed that he never pushed him, and Dayakar never felt insulted. He added that the social media claims were completely wrong and misleading.
