Ahead of New Year 2026, Hyd Police Issue Key Rules!

The new year 2026 eve is nearly upon as we will be celebrating that time of the year in just over a couple of weeks from now. In this context, Hyderabad police have issued a key set of rules and regulations. 

The Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad issued the following guidelines to the managements of 3 Star & above Hotels, Clubs and Bars and Restaurants and pubs with regard to New Year celebrations. 

The managements of 3 Star & above Hotels, Clubs and Bars and Restaurants/Pubs who are going to conduct ticketed events up to 1.00 AMshould apply to the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad for grant of permission well in advance. 

As per Telangana Public Safety Enforcement Act, 2013, the organizer will ensure that CCTV Cameras with recording facility is installed at all the entry & exit points of establishment. CCTV Cameras will also be installed with recording facility at parking places.

The organizers & managements should provide adequate security guards for traffic Management and security to their establishment.

Decency of apparel, dance acts, gestures words has to be ensured by organizers. There should not be any obscenity and nudity in any of the performances.

The Sound System in outdoor (including Public Address System, Loud Speaker, DJ system, DJ Sound Mixer, Sound Amplifier, Other High Sound Generating Equipment) must be stopped at 10:00 PM as per Supreme Court guidelines.

The Sound System is permitted beyond 10.00 PM only in indoor closed premises for example: Community Hall, Banquet Halls and Function Halls strictly only up to the requested time i.e. 01.00 AM and the noise level should not exceed 45 decibels. The organizers are warned not to allow any fire arms at the venue of event.
