The younger generation of the Indian population has started to slowly but surely embrace the Korean pop culture. In particular, Korean films and music have been gaining significance in the domestic Indian market for the last few months.
In this context, the latest developments are suggesting that leading K-pop band, BTS could be coming to India soon.
Reportedly, BTS is contemplating the idea of performing live in a show in India in 2026 and the stage is being set for the same now. It is said that Mumbai is being seen as one of the possible locations for the BTS event in India.
While this band might not be as popular with the elder population, it certainly has a strong grip over the Gen Z community and particularly so amongst young girls. This increased prominence in the Indian market could’ve inspired the Korean band to visit India soon and perform a mega set in Mumbai.
An official announcement on the same is awaited for now, but the speculations are rife that a massive tour event could be held in India early next year if everything goes as planned.
