Beware! No More Morphed Bikini Pics On Grok!

It is already known that Elon Musk’s X, formerly Twitter, recently launched hyper realistic image generation through its Grok AI, which is integrated into the platform.

However, this feature was widely misused by social media users who prompted the system to generate high definition bikini images of real life celebrities and private individuals. This amounted to a serious misuse of technology, invading privacy and creating inappropriate images without the consent of those involved.

According to the latest developments, Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI announced late on Wednesday that it has imposed restrictions on all users of the Grok AI chatbot. These limits specifically address image editing, following the creation of sexualized images that raised widespread concern.

“We have implemented technological measures to prevent the Grok account from allowing the editing of images of real people in revealing clothing such as bikinis. This restriction applies to all users, including paid subscribers,” the platform stated.

In several instances, even minors were digitally altered into swimwear, triggering strong criticism from all sections. Responding to legal and ethical challenges, Grok had already limited image generation and editing features to paid subscribers last week.

Now, with stricter regulations in place, Grok AI will no longer allow bikini image generation. X has begun enforcing these controls seriously to prevent further misuse of the technology.
