The recent viral video posted by a girl from Kerala which led to the suicide of a man named Deepak grabbed a lot of attention and we had also extensively reported on the same already.
Now, the latest developments are suggesting that the culprit lady who had been absconding and avoiding police custody has finally been detained and has been legally prosecuted.
Shimjitha Musthafa, the accused in the case linked to the suicide of a Kerala sales manager, has been remanded in police custody for 14 days.
She was produced before the Kunnamangalam Magistrate after being arrested for posting the video of the victim, in which she alleged that the latter inappropriately touched her several times.
Shortly after this arrest, Kerala police are being widely appreciated on social media as there’s a lot of public backlash on this matter and the lady is bound to face the legal consequences for the same.
