It was already known that the Indian government is prestigiously holding the AI impact Sumit that is currently happening in the national capital of Delhi. This is a major global event with delegates from other countries actively participating in the same.
However, a major fiasco happened at this global event yesterday as a Robo dog that was put on display created a huge controversy.
Incidentally, one of the special invite to this AI impact Summit, Glagotias University had displayed this robotic dog that performed a few stunts at the summit yesterday. However, it quickly turned out to be that this robo dog was not manufactured by this university, and it was imported from China.
This quickly became viral news as Chinese authorities claimed credit for this and said this is a product belonging to their country, and there is no innovation associated with India in connection with the same. This whole situation became a laughing star as a Chinese robo dog was displayed at Indian summit.
Subsequently, the Indian authorities have asked the concerned university to vacate the summit on immediate basis and the videos posted from official handles were deleted effective immediately. Later, the university confirmed that they never claimed credit for this Robo and had brought it just for display.
This is one of the most embarrassing incidents to happen to India on the global level and people are calling for better application and execution in the near future as such hiatus’ can deplete the country’s image.
