What Now! No More Dosa, Idli In Hyderabad Hostels!

As we had reported earlier today, the Hotels Association of Hyderabad stated that it is tough for them to continue operations as they’re not being supplied with adequate commercial gas. Now this issue has reached, even to the hostels in the city.

According to the latest communication made by the IT corridor Hostel Association, certain changes are being observed in order to comply with the shortage of commercial gas supply.

As per the guidelines that are issued by the association, the hostels across the city will be looking to reduce the usage of gas. Subsequently, the preparation of tea and coffee might be temporarily halted.

Time consuming breakfast options, like Dosa, Puri and Idli might be temporarily restricted in order to reduce the usage of gas and oil. It is also confirmed that certain types of foods and curries might be restricted till the supply of gas is fully restored.

Basic food items like rice and other options will be supplied with whatever gas supplies that are available now. Also, the self cooking facilities using gas cylinders in the hostels will be temporarily restricted.

Considering the fact that a large section of the working population in the city stays at these hostels and PGs, this new restriction could be a big deal. But the point that must be noted here is that the country is observing a sharp decline in the supply of commercial gas and certain repercussions are bound to be observed.
