The student from Keralam, who went missing in the Chandradrona Hill range during a trek with her family, was found dead on Friday.
The anti-Naxal force, police, fire and emergency services, local residents and SDRF found fourteen-year-old Srinanda’s body at a cliff near Manikyadhara waterfalls in Chikkamagaluru district.
The family from Palakkad in Keralam visited Hampi and then proceeded to Manikyadhara waterfalls.
Nanda went missing on Tuesday. The rescue team traced her sensing a foul smell emanating from near the cliff.
The body has been sent for autopsy to know the exact reason behind her death.
There are doubts if Nanda slipped from the viewpoint on the cliff or if she intentionally took a drastic step.
