Over the last couple of months, we have been hearing several cases of people getting infected with HIV after getting forcibly injected by their partners or detractors. Sadly, we have a new addition to this list as a girl from Pocharam faced the same situation.
Reportedly a 22 year old lady was infected after her distant relative forcibly injected HIV positive blood into her through a syringe. She was unable to bear the mental and physical stress that came with it, and she had sadly committed suicide yesterday.
Allegedly this 24 year old culprit, who infected the HIV blood into the lady, had been forcing her to marry him. But the lady had rejected his advancement as he is already suffering from HIV positive.
Unable to pay this rejection, this man had allegedly got a hold of the young lady and affected her with a syringe. The girl fell ill after the injection and was questioned by the family members as to what happened. She then revealed that the man had forcibly injected her.
While the girl had been receiving medical attention to treat this condition, she was unable to pair the mental and physical trauma associated with it.
The responsibility is now on the authorities to take strict action and set a strong example against such activities as this is possibly the third incident involving HIV infection in the last few months itself. This pathetic situation cannot continue in the future.
