PMJ Jewels has launched an all-new Akshaya Tritiya campaign that merges financial insight with cultural tradition, titled Rajeev’s IQ vs. Suma’s GB. The TVC, starring well-known television personalities Rajeev Kanakala and his wife Suma, positions gold buying as a smart, strategic decision that holds long-term value across generations.

The campaign employs a humorous contrast between IQ, representing logic-driven thinking, and GB, which refers to Gold Buying- a symbolic nod to Suma’s steady and intuitive approach to securing family wealth. The narrative playfully showcases how her consistent investment in gold, despite fluctuating market trends, has consistently delivered long-term benefits.

Rajeev’s skepticism and Suma’s confident conviction create a relatable dynamic for modern Indian households, where financial decisions often blend emotion with practicality. The campaign concludes with a refined voice-over by PMJ Jewels’ Brand Ambassador, Superstar Mahesh Babu, reaffirming the enduring value of gold as a wealth builder.

According to Kushal Kankaria, Chairman of PMJ Jewels, the concept celebrates the often-underappreciated financial intelligence of Indian homemakers, who blend tradition with foresight.

Managing Director Dinesh Kankaria notes that associating GB intelligence with Akshaya Tritiya aligns perfectly with the brand’s philosophy- highlighting gold not merely as jewellery, but as a strategic asset class.

To mark the festival, PMJ Jewels has curated a special Akshaya Tritiya assortment featuring handcrafted gold pieces, intricate diamond jewellery, and contemporary bridal collections. Each design reflects the brand’s 60-year heritage in producing fine jewellery that combines quality, artistry, and innovation.

Directed by Shourya Paruvu, the TV commercial is now being broadcast across major regional networks and digital platforms. With 45 stores spread across India and the US, PMJ Jewels continues to strengthen its position as a trusted leader in the fine jewellery segment, offering customers an elevated buying experience along with timeless craftsmanship.
