In the case of Maharashtra, chief minister, Devendra Fadnavis, his wife Amruta Fadnavis had been coming under the social media banter for the last few months. The kind of outfit choices that she had been incorporating have become a topic of discussion.
Now there is a new set of videos where Amrutha Fadnavis is seen in a skin tight yoga dress as she took part in a related activity in Mumbai yesterday. The visuals of the CM’s wife in this outfit are now going viral.
It is perfectly understandable that she had a certain choice of clothing for a yoga related event. But considering the conventional social back prop of the Indian society, people are commenting that Amruta must have exercised more caution while wearing this outfit.
People are commenting that it would have been better if the CM’s wife decided to wear something more comfortable and socially appropriate than a tight outfit. There was a similar reaction earlier when Amruta wore a similar outfit to a beach cleaning program in Mumbai. But that doesn’t appear to have shown an effect on her as she repeated the same pattern yesterday.
Coincidentally, actress Sreeleela also took part in the event yesterday and appeared in a comfortable, yoga-appropriate outfit. Some people on social media are saying that celebrities should learn from such humble public figures when it comes to social etiquette. However, others disagree with these comments, arguing that everyone has the right to make their own choices, including the Chief Minister’s wife.
