Strait Of Hormuz Closed Again: What’s Happening?

The ongoing conflict between Iran republic and United States has become a major cause of concern for global peace and market stability. The crucial seaway passage for international trade, Strait Of Hormuz is also showing a lot of volatility due to the ongoing situation.

Now, Iran’s IRGC has announced the complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz, declaring that no vessel will be allowed to transit until the United States ends its military interference in the region.

The IRGC also claimed Iranian forces struck two vessels that ignored warnings and switched off their radio communications.

Almost immediately afterward, fresh strikes were reported across southern and southwestern Iran, with reports alleging U.S. HIMARS launches from Bahrain and Kuwait.

Notably, Iran directly rejected the US ultimatum, declaring that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed to all lanes except the northern Iranian route, and any decisions regarding the Strait are made solely by Iran and Oman.

As a trigger response to this, the United States military has launched third air strike on Iran and hit multiple locations upon the command issued by the commander in chief.

If this famous Strait Of Hormuz is indeed closed any longer, it could again create a negative impact on the global fuel and oil markets. So it has to be seen where this scenario would be ending up in the near future.
