The Jantar Mantar area in Delhi witnessed a piece of history when the successful cockroach janta party movement was able to get education minister Dharmendra Pradhan resign from position.
However, this is not the end of the protest as the CJP has publicly announced that they would resume the protest if the Police do not lift the FIRs that were filed against students who were protesting.
Considering the impact of the earlier protest, it should be too much for Delhi Police, and also the Indian government to take another protest from the CJP. So they have started to take evasive action already.
Incidentally, Delhi’s Jantar Mantar has witnessed an extremely unusual and strict step by the administration amid the ongoing student protests. To prevent the crowd from advancing, police are fixing barricades by welding them together.
To ensure no one can push and topple the barricades, one person is seen joining them with a welding machine, Right behind the barricades, a large number of students and protesters are present, watching the entire process.
This videos are now going viral on social media, as people are pointing out that it is unethical on the part of the Delhi Police to do something so unusual just so that they can stop the students from protesting peacefully.
