Anakapalli Trailer: Rural Drama Targeted At Youth

Telugu film industry has been witnessing a wide range of movies of late. However, many small-budget flicks are coming out, especially against rural backdrops. Anakapalli is one of the upcoming films that shows promise with its making, visuals, and content. Noted director Trinadha Rao Nakkina provided the story and screenplay and also turned producer for the film, while also acting in a role. Vikram Sahidev, Sandhya Vasishta, and Tarak Ponnappa are playing the lead roles in the film.

Billed to be a raw and rustic rural entertainer, the film unit launched the trailer, which presents a refreshing love story between the lead pair. The trailer traces the journey of a village as a conflict enters in the form of Tarak Ponnappa. The team pinned a lot of hopes on the film’s success and displayed a unique approach in filmmaking. The visuals are good, and the trailer cut is engaging.

The team is also banking on the action sequences to give viewers an adrenaline rush. That said, the film appeals on many levels, from the music to the visuals, but a notable cast could have had a bigger impact. Apart from Tarak Ponnappa, who enthralled us in Pushpa, none of the actors are familiar faces. The film appeals mainly to youth, and we have to see if this team can create wonders.

Kandregula Naidu and Thrinadha Rao Nakkina produced the film under the Bhavya Sri Movie Makers and Nakkina Narratives banners. Khagesh Tammineni is the film’s director. Anakapalli is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on August 7.
