ED Raids AMR Group: Who Is Mahesh Reddy?

A Mahesh Reddy, the owner of Hyderabad-based AMR Constructions, is very popular in business and film circles. The Enforcement Directorate has conducted searches at the homes and offices of AMR Mahesh Reddy.

The ED searches are in connection with a money laundering case. The searches are linked to a case registered in Kolkata. ED officials carried out searches at several locations connected to Mahesh Reddy.

Reddy, often known as AMR Mahesh Reddy in the circles, has also ventured into film production. He produced films such as Shirdi Sai and Om Namo Venkatesaya under AMR Sai Krupa Entertainments banner. Both the films have Nagarjuna Akkineni as the main lead and they were directed by K Raghavendra Rao. While Shirdi Sai was a success, Om Namo Venkatesaya turned out to be a debacle at the box-office.

AMR Mahesh Reddy’s birthday parties are quite special as each year he celebrates his birthday in a lavish way and his parties are attended by the top celebrities and business persons.

AMR Constructions has undertaken several major projects in the mining, construction and infrastructure sectors. Meanwhile, Mahesh Reddy’s son, Aneesh, is all set to make his acting debut as a hero with Itlu Arjun. The film is scheduled to release on October 8.
