Bharat Biotech Reacts On Covid-19 Vaccine Criticism

There has been a huge criticism with the vaccine for Covid-19 getting approval in India. The issue turned into a political and oppositions are slamming the Centre and drug regulator for hurrying up things to roll out the vaccine.

Bharat Biotech which has developed Covaxin, is at the receiving end of the criticism too. The company’s MD Krishna Ella has reacted and he stated that “We are not a company without experience in vaccines. We have tremendous experience in vaccines and are touching 123 countries.”

“Approval of COVAXIN for emergency use is a giant leap for innovation and novel product development in India. It is a proud moment for the nation and a great milestone in India’s scientific capability, a kick-start to the innovation ecosystem in India,” added Krishna and about the political criticism he said, I want to state very clearly that none of my family members is associated with any political party.

On the transparency of data, Krishna stated that people who read his journals first before making a statement with bad intentions. “More than 70 articles have been published in various international journals. People should browse the internet and then read and then comment their views,” added Krishna.In a way the Bharat Biotech company MD is deeply upset with the happenings in the last few days but he claims that his company has followed all the standard procedures and there is absolutely nothing to hide.
