Corona cases close to 75K ahead of #Lockdown4

The Corona positive cases in the country are going up and up. Now the cases are close to 75,000 mark at the end of lockdown 3. There are no doubts that the cases count will cross the above mentioned mark by tomorrow but there is a catch here.

The lockdown 4 is set to begin from May 18th and there will be some relaxations on the lockdown in the fourth installment. Exemptions will be given to green and orange zones but Red zones will continue in restrictions. There are high chances that the lockdown 4 will report more cases as experts believe that Corona will be more effective in June, July and August months. The Centre is yet to disclose the dates of fourth lockdown.

Coming to the cases, in the last 24 hours, 3525 new cases have been reported and total cases count stands at 74,281. The death count is also increasing with 122 people dying in the last 24 hours and total is 2415.

In Andhra Pradesh, 48 new cases are confirmed out of the 9284 samples the state tested. Also three people have died and from the state, the death count is 47.

Nationwide there are 24,386 people who got discharged and from there are 1142 people. The Union Health ministry added that the recovery rate from the virus is 32 percent.

In Telangana, 51 new cases were filed on Tuesday. 37 are from GHMC region while 14 are migrant workers. The total Corona cases in Telangana is 1326 and death count is 32.
