Sachin Tendulkar Tests Positive Of Covid-19

Former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has tested positive for the novel Covid-19. Taking to his social media handles, Sachin has announced this news.

“I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay. However I’ve tested positive today following mild symptoms,” wrote Sachin in the note.

He further added that he is in home quarantine and following all the necessary protocols as advised by his doctors. “All others at my home have tested negative,” Sachin adds.

Maharashtra is the worst hit state of Covid-19 and the cases are increasing with each day passing. In the last 24 hours the state has reported 36,902 new positive infections while the country has added 62,258 positive cases. Over 60K cases in a single day is first in the last 160 days.

The active cases count now stands at 4,52,647 while the total death count is 1,61,240.
