President Kovind Undergoes Bypass Surgery Successfully

President of India, Ramnath Kovind has undergone a successful bypass surgery at AIIMS New Delhi. Last Friday President Kovind complained of discomfort in chest and reached the Army’s R&R hospital. The doctors of the hospital have recommended him to AIIMS and during the weekend he was shifted.

On Tuesday morning, a team of experts in AIIMS have performed the surgery. Confirming the same, Defence minister Rajnath Singh wrote, “The President of India, Shri Ramnath Kovind has undergone a successful bypass surgery at AIIMS, Delhi. I congratulate the team of Doctors for successful operation. Spoke to Director AIIMS to enquire about Rashtrapatiji’s health. Praying for his well-being and speedy recovery.”

As soon as the news broke out, many politicians wished for the speedy recovery of President Kovind.

Telangana IT minister KTR tweeted, “I wish Hon’ble President of India @rashtrapatibhvn Kovind Ji a quick recovery from his bypass surgery. Pray for his well-being.”
