Rohit Sharma is a modern-day cricketing legend in the international cricketing arena. He is one of the masters of white-ball cricket. Last night, Rohit became the Indian player with the most sixes in IPL history and also completed 4000 runs as a captain.
Rohit surpassed the record of MS Dhoni to become the Indian with the most sixes in the IPL. Rohit now has 217 IPL sixes in his career while Dhoni had hit 216. Meanwhile, Universe Boss Chris Gayle holds the record for hitting the most sixes in the league with 351 maximums. De Villiers is in second place with 240 sixes. Rohit and Dhoni are the third and fourth places respectively. Pollard and Kohli are in the fifth and sixth places with 201 sixes each.
Meanwhile, Rohit also completed 4000 T20 runs as a captain. He now made 4004 runs as a captain. Rohit led Mumbai Indians for a long time now. RCB’s skipper Virat Kohli has 6049 runs. MS Dhoni made 5872 runs and Gautam Gambhir made 4272 runs as skippers in T20 cricket.
