Sundar Pichai Devastated & Satya Nadella Heartbroken

The second wave of Corona hit us badly and the government of India is working hard to handle the crisis. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced that lockdown will be the last option to control the spread of the virus. In this scenario, a lot of people are voluntarily coming forward to offer help to those raising requests for ventilators, oxygen cylinders, hospital beds, injections, and other emergency items. Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella came forward to offer help to the country.

Sundar Pichai confirmed that Google is providing 135 crore rupees to UNICEF and the non-profit organization Give India for supplying medical supplies and other necessary materials.

“Devastated to see the worsening Covid crisis in India. Google & Googlers are providing Rs 135 Crore in funding to @GiveIndia, @UNICEF for medical supplies, orgs supporting high-risk communities, and grants to help spread critical information.” shared Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai on his Twitter profile.

Microsoft’s Satya Nadella revealed that he is heartbroken to see India going through a tough situation. He also thanked the USA government for mobilizing to help India in sending raw materials necessary for the production of vaccines.

“I am heartbroken by the current situation in India. I’m grateful the U.S. government is mobilizing to help. Microsoft will continue to use its voice, resources, and technology to aid relief efforts, and support the purchase of critical oxygen concentration devices.” tweeted Satya Nadella.

The USA president Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris also assured support to rapidly deploy all the necessary supplies during an alarming COVID-19 outbreak.

“Just as India sent assistance to the United States as our hospitals were strained early in the pandemic, we are determined to help India in its time of need,” Joe Biden said in a tweet.

Many other prominent personalities also responded to the current COVID situation in India and several other countries are also offering us help to battle the crisis.
