Amid the current catastrophic situation due to the huge surge in Covid-19 cases across the country, there are some heartless people trying to exploit patients’ families for money.
The number of hospitalizations, deaths, and suffering is growing more each day. With the lack of hospital beds, vaccines, oxygen supply, and many more, the families of Covid-19 patients are not ready to let go of any small opportunity to save the patients. Taking advantage of this, fraudsters are scamming people with plasma donation offerings.
While many of the patients need plasma donations, some miscreants are calling the patients’ families offering plasma donations in return for money. When the patients’ family transfers the money, the scamsters are turning their cell phones off.
These shameless fraudsters and scamsters are much more prevalent along with the virus during the tough times and patients’ families need to be aware of these frauds. So, think twice before sending the money with a plasma donation assurance on a phone call.
