‘Once Upon A Virus’, China’s Video Teasing the US

The United States of America emerged as the country with the highest number of coronavirus cases and is struggling to flatten the curve. The US President Donald Trump’s anger and allegations on China that the latter kept the severity of the virus hidden and thus causing the greatest damage to the US.

Reacting to the US president’s allegations, the Chinese embassy in France released a teasing video ‘One Upon a Virus..’, in which they threw a sharp satire at the Superpower country’s negligence and reluctance in imposing the needed measures that could have controlled the spread to a large extent.

This 99-second video shows the entire series of updates and exchange of statements between China, WHO, and the USA. It all starts with China reporting a strange Pneumonia case reported in the country and WHO acknowledging it, while the US ridiculed it by ruling it out as ‘only the flu’.

China even mocked at the US in the video that the latter disagreed with suggestions to wear a mask as they think it is airborne and how they asked the US to follow ‘stay home’ measure and the US calling it ‘violating the human rights’. From China updating the world about building camps, locking down, dying doctors, and later dropping numbers to the US alleging China and WHO for ‘lying’ to them, China derided the USA with each detail they made public.

The US President Donald Trump agreed he downplayed the virus severity earlier but later alleged China has hidden the death count and symptoms, to which China is now opposing them all. The US is planning to impose more business restrictions on China in the coming days and he already announced to hold the funding to WHO.

Well, watch the video to see how China mocked the US (president) for ignoring the facts and updates given by them.
