US: Hollywood Actor, His Wife And Dog Found Dead

Hollywood actor, and Oscar-winner Gene Hackman, his wife, and their dog were found dead in their Santa Fe Home. According to the investigators, they had been dead for some time.

Hackman (95), was found dead in a mudroom and his wife Betsy Arakawa (63), was found dead in a bathroom next to a space heater. There was an open prescription bottle and pills scattered on a countertop near Arakawa. Arakawa’s body is said to be decomposing with bloating in her face and mummification of her hands and feet.

A dead German shepherd was found in a bathroom closet near Arakawa. Two healthy dogs were found on the property.

A Sheriff’s office spokesperson Denise Avila said there was no indication that any of them had been shot or had other types of wounds. Also, the gas lines were tested and there were no signs of problems. A detective noted there were no obvious signs of a gas leak.

However, according to investigators, the scene was ‘suspicious enough in nature to require a thorough search and investigation’. Gene Hackman is known for movies like Superman, Runaway Jury, Behind Enemy Lines, Heist, The Firm, and Enemy Of The State among others.

A worker reported that the front door was open when he arrived and he called the police after finding the bodies.
