Trump Warns Iran Of Venezuela Nightmare

The ongoing diplomatic tensions between USA and Iran seem to have now reached a boiling point with both sides doubling down their attacks in the latest round of ceasefire violations. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump continues to threaten Iran with his belligerent warnings.

While both the military forces are involving in direct confrontation, Trump has now further escalated tensions with his latest statements. He vowed to hit Iran very hard tonight and threatened to seize its most critical energy hubs, including Kharg Island, to assume total control over the country’s oil and gas markets.

In a fiery post on his social media platform Truth Social on Thursday, President Trump declared that the US would continue its aerial campaigns for a third consecutive night. He claimed that Iran’s traditional military capabilities have been heavily degraded, writing that its “Navy, Air Force, Radar, Anti-Aircraft, and all other forms of Defense, together with most of its offensive capability, are GONE!”

“At some point in the not-too-distant future, we will be taking Kharg Island, and other oil infrastructure points, and assume total control of their Oil and Gas Markets, much like we have with Venezuela, which is working out brilliantly for both Venezuela and the United States of America,” Trump wrote.

The President’s remarks come amid intense military activity in the region, where the US Navy has been aggressively enforcing a maritime blockade on Iranian ports in the Strait of Hormuz.

Meanwhile, Kharg Island came into the picture because it serves as Iran’s primary economic lifeline, handling roughly 90 percent of the country’s crude oil exports.

Earlier this year, the USA military forces, following the orders of Donald Trump, launched a sudden military operation on Venezuela and took complete control of the oil exports after overthrowing president Maduro.

If US attacks Kharg island and capture it in a similar attack like Venezuela, Iran could face huge loss to its revenue sources. Both Strait of Hormuz and Kharg Island are key to Iran’s economic activity and would effectively choke off its remaining trade revenue and completely reshape global energy markets.
