Balayya comments on Heroine's Height

Nandamuri Balakrishna was in full flow at the audio launch of Nara Rohit and Nithya Menon's upcoming film Okkadine. He is all praise for the female lead of the film, Nithya Menon.

According to the actor, it's the luck of Telugu people to get a heroine like Nithya in times where zero size trend is continuing. "Nithya Menon is a very good actress and she belongs to the league of Savithri, Nargis, Madhu Bala and Soundarya. All the Telugus should feel proud of Her. Nithya, a Nandi award winner, has earned a name for herself in the Industry by choosing good role. Her presence has reduced the drought of good heroines in Industry to some extent," opines the actor.

Balayya went a step ahead and declared that he would have liked to cast Nithya in his directorial debut film Narthanasala, but couldn't do so because of her height issue. "I had put my film Narthanasala on hold just because there is no one to play Draupadi. In fact, I would have roped Nithya for the Draupadi role in place of Soundarya, if she was slightly taller than what she looks now!," he stressed.

Nithya will surely be on cloud nine hearing such good words from a senior hero like Balakrishna and it's the turn of her contemporaries to go green with envy. Let's see whether this short beauty successfully completes to cement her place in the Industry!
