Pawan Kalyan has always enjoyed strong support from young fans. They stood by him during difficult times, whether it was his personal struggles, political setbacks or movie failures. That loyal fan base played a big role in his journey.
Today, as Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy CM, Pawan is earning appreciation for his work in government. His focus on administration, public welfare and development has won respect from many people. Even those outside his fan base have praised his performance as a minister.
At the same time, his political stand on some national issues is bringing mixed reactions. His strong support for the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become a topic of debate among youth.
During the Bhogapuram public meeting, Pawan spoke about the recent NEET protests and defended Modi. But a look at the comments below his speech on YouTube, X and other social media platforms shows that many young users were not convinced. While some supported his views, many others openly disagreed and expressed disappointment.
This clearly shows how social media has changed. Today’s youth are not ready to support every statement made by their favourite hero or political leader. They support what they believe is right and question what they do not agree with.
That does not mean Pawan is losing his popularity. He still has a huge fan base and remains one of the most influential leaders in Andhra Pradesh. But public opinion, especially among young voters, is becoming more issue based than personality based.
Social media is often the first place where this change becomes visible. Leaders who understand this changing mood and respond accordingly are likely to connect better with the next generation of voters.
For any leader, including Pawan Kalyan, listening to public sentiment can be just as important as delivering powerful speeches.
