Telugu Television: Biggest TRP Clash On Cards

Telugu television arena is all set to witness a never-seen-before clash. Two of the biggest stars of the film industry will be locking horns with their television shows this time. This intense TRP fight will be between Bigg Boss season 5 and Evaru Meelo Koteeshwarulu.

Bigg Boss is undeniably the most popular reality show in Telugu. Right from the first season hosted by Jr. NTR, the show has been getting thumping ratings every year. It has placed Star Maa on top of the charts many times. Even though the hosts changed, the popularity of the show never declined.

The last two seasons were hosted by King Nagarjuna. It is reported that he will be hosting this season as well. Already, the organizers have released the first look teaser of season 5. Most likely, it will premiere next month.

On the flip side, Jr. NTR is making a comeback into the television arena with a brand new season of Evaru Meelo Koteeshwarulu. The show will be broadcasted on Gemini TV. Already, the makers have released a set of promos and announced that it will air this month. The first episode of Evaru Meelo Koteeshwarulu will go on air on 15th August.

Thus, the TRP clash between Bigg Boss and EMK is inevitable. While the former enjoys a massive viewership, the latter got the craze of NTR. Mostly, both the shows air at the same time. Hence, it has to be seen which one will the viewers prefer to watch.

Bigg Boss mostly gets good ratings only during weekends, when the host comes. But that is not the case with EMK. NTR can be seen in every episode. In that way, EMK has an edge over Bigg Boss.
