‘Not Nani, Producers Responsible’

Telangana film chamber of commerce Pressmeet about same day release of Tuck Jagadish and Love Story has taken a different turn when some frustrated exhibitors blamed Nani for the decision. Chamber’s Secretary Suniel Narang corrected them immediately saying that it is not right to blame the actor.

“Any film is a product of the producer. He gets to decide how to release it. Some of the Exhibitors said so in anguish but it is not right to blame the heroes. We should pressure the producers. Heroes should also support our efforts to save the theater system,” Suniel Narang said.

“Releasing an OTT film for festival will impact the theaters. Ultimately the producer will suffer in the long term. It happened with Love Story now and can happen with any film tomorrow. We request the producers to talk to the OTT Platform and change the release date,” he added.
