Social Drama With A Strong Message

Just a couple of days ago, star producer Dil Raju announced his new project with Thalapathy Vijay. Tentatively called #Thalapathy66, this movie will be directed by Vamshi Paidipally.

Now, we hear the latest update about the plot of this movie. According to the buzz, the story of this film revolves around a wildlife photographer who turns into a journalist and fights against the destruction of forests and natural resources.

Going by the plotline, the film looks like a social drama with a strong message. As Vijay is a star, it will be layered with all the commercial elements. Of late, Vijay has been choosing socially relevant subjects, which can deliver a strong message to society.

His movies like Kaththi, Mersal, Sarkar, and Master carry an underlying message. Now, this project may also fall under the same category.

Vamshi Paidipally talked about farmers’ issues in his last movie Maharshi. Now, he has taken up ‘Global Warming’ as the central theme of this new story. More details about this project are expected to be announced soon.

Currently, Vijay is busy with the shoot of his upcoming film Beast. Directed by Nelson, this movie features Pooja Hegde as the female lead.
