Love Story’s collections dropped drastically on day 6

Shekhar Kammula’s Love Story got a flying start at the box office when it had hit the screens last Friday. The momentum continued on Saturday and Sunday as well. However, the collections of this film dropped drastically on the weekdays.

The incessant rainfall in the Telugu states affected the collections on Monday. Thus, it managed to earn only Rs. 2.5 crores at the box office. The number dropped further on Tuesday as Love Story was able to mint only Rs. 1.2 crores at the ticket counters.

Trade analysts predicted that there will not be a significant drop in the collections on Wednesday and expected the movie to get a share of around Rs. 90 lakhs to 1 crore.

However, Love Story shockingly managed to earn only Rs. 65 lakhs+ share on its sixth day. This sharp decline in the collections is now worrying the producers and distributors.

It has to be seen how Love Story will sustain at the box office this weekend, with the new release Republic in competition.

Love Story featured Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles. Puskar Ram Mohan Rao and Sunil Narang have bankrolled the project.
