Aishwarya Dhanush Calls The Day ‘History’

Among many stars today, it is Superstar Rajinikanth receiving his Dadasaheb Phalke Award at the 67th National Film Awards which is making headlines uninterruptedly. Also, his son-in-law Dhanush winning the Best Actor Award thrilled the fans of both actors.

This is the first time ever where Rajinikanth and Dhanush received prestigious awards at the same ceremony and if this moment is not labelled as ”history”, we don’t know what it is. A few hours ago, Rajinikanth’s daughter and Dhanush’s wife, Aishwarya posted a couple of pics of the actors and wrote: “They are mine … and this is history #prouddaughter #proudwife.”

One of the pictures shows the actors happily posing with “proud” Aishwarya. Rajinikanth received his Dadasaheb Phalke Award from Vice President Venkaiah Naidu at New Delhi’s Vigyan Bhawan today. He dedicated it to his old bus driver friend, late filmmaker K Balachander, who directed Rajinikanth’s first film Apoorva Raagangal, his brother Sathyanarayana Rao and his “directors, producers, theatre owners, technicians and fans.”

Dhanush received the Best Actor award for his performance in Asuran. He shared the award with Manoj Bajpayee, who won it for Bhonsle. He also dedicated it to his fans and tweeted “To my fans” with heart emoticons.
