This OTT platform pinning a lot of hopes on RRR

The promotions of RRR have been kickstarted in style and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to garner wide attention across the country.

Already, the team has joined hands with the PVR multiplex chain and has come up with ‘PVRRR’ hoardings across all the latter’s properties. Just a couple of days back, the glimpse of RRR has been released as well. Calling it a visual marvel will be not enough. Such was its grandeur.

The glimpse got wide positive acclaim from people across India and everyone is now looking forward to watching the film on big screens. Meanwhile, it is already known that RRR’s digital rights were acquired by Zee5 for Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.

This is the biggest acquisition made by Zee5 in South India. The digital platform has pinned all its hopes on this film to expand its subscriber base in South Indian territory.

Though Zee5 is quite prominent in North India, it doesn’t have enough user base in the Southern states. If RRR becomes a huge hit, it will help Zee5 in reaching wider audiences down here.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR features Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. It will hit the screens on January 7, 2022.
