Why Not?: Samantha On Her Bollywood Debut

There’s been news for quite some time now that Samantha is doing her Bollywood debut. After repeated rumours, the actress finally reacts to it. A couple of reports came in that Sam has already signed a Bollywood movie while others claimed that she will be active in both Hindi and South industries which is why she reportedly bought a house in Mumbai.

In one of the recent interviews, Sam was asked about her Bollywood debut. She replied, “Why not, if the right script comes, I will definitely be interested. But for me language is not the most important aspect, the decision to choose a script is completely instinctive. I will consider if the script has its heart in the right place and will I fit into it. 

The priority is to make justice for the role. These are the questions I ask myself before signing any new project. That’s the most important thing for me.”

While her answer is pretty clear, there are strong reports that she has signed her maiden Hindi project under Tapasee Pannu’s production and an announcement about it will be made soon. 

Samantha received huge accolades for her powerful performance as ‘Rajji’ in Manoj Bajpayee led ‘The Family Man 2’. And since then, rumours claim that she will soon be seen in Bollywood and actors like Shahid Kapoor, Tapsee Pannu also showed keen interest to work with her.
