Ranveer Singh is playing Kapil Dev in the ace cricketer’s biopic. Titled 83, the film is hitting the screens in December this year. The film unit released the theatrical trailer today which opened to a unanimously positive response. The trailer was also released in regional languages including Telugu. Actor Sumanth gave voice to Ranveer’s character (Kapil Dev) in the film.
Nagarjuna Akkineni and Annapurna Studios are a part of the film’s release in Telugu. Annapurna Studios is presenting the film in Telugu and the team has taken proper care in getting the film’s dubbing done without any errors.
Surprisingly, Sumanth’s voice suited Ranveer Singh pretty well. Actor Rahul Ravindran too turned a dubbing artist for the film. He lent voice for Krishnamachari Srikkanth’s character, played by Jiiva of Rangam fame.
Deepika Padukone, Kabir Khan, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Sajid Nadiadwala are producing the film under Phantom Films and Reliance Entertainment banners.
The film is directed by Kabir Khan. 83 The Film will hit the screens on 24th December.
