Buzz: Pushpa Signed ’50 Days’ Deal Only

Despite the fact that Allu Arjun’s Pushpa is posting good numbers so far at the box office, actually, some hiccups are affecting the film for sure including the ticket pricing in one state and excessive sales price in another state. Not stopping there, now a rumour has started doing rounds that the film will release on OTT in the first week of January itself. Is it true?

Of course, those who have seen the logo of ‘Amazon Prime Video’ at the starting titles of “Pushpa” do feel that the film is really coming up on the popular streaming site very soon.

But the fact is that the makers of the movie are said to have signed a deal that the film will turn up on Amazon only 50 days later from the release date. That means it might come to Prime Video only by the end of February after the film completes its cheerful run amidst all the competition that is coming up.

So all the hungama that is going on Twitter that Pushpa will turn up on Amazon is not true and those who like to catch it up in theatres should really do it. More than waiting for OTT release, it’s the turn-up of audiences in theatres that will actually help not just this Allu Arjun starrer but the whole of Tollywood in a big way. Of course, there are factors like Omicron, Covid and the cold wave that are shaking up few film enthusiasts to rush to theatres.

On the other hand, Pushpa really opened a big market for all Telugu films in Bollywood no matter even if the film has no familiar Bollywood faces or nativity thing. We have to see how many other films will make use of it.
