For the last couple of days, director Ram Gopal Varma has been taking potshots against the government of Andhra Pradesh regarding the reduction of movie ticket rates in the state.
Looking at the way he is counter-attacking the AP government, many people opined that RGV should lead Tollywood in fighting against this decision.
Director Ajay Bhupathi of RX100 and Maha Samudram fame also opined the same. He tweeted that he wants to see his boss (RGV) as the industry’s ‘Pedda Dikku’.
Responding to the same, RGV stated that it is stupidity to have a ‘pedda dikku’ for the film industry. “Because everyone in the industry is selfish. Thus, they listen to the people who are in favour of them and not to the words of the so-called ‘Pedda Dikku’.”
Once again, RGV proved his radical mindset by defining the industry’s ‘pedda dikku’ in this way.
Just a few days ago, Megastar Chiranjeevi stated that he is not a ‘pedda dikku’ of the Telugu film industry and never wanted to become one.
