Acharya Item Song: RMP Doctors Not Happy

Writing lyrics for a song has become a tough task these days because people are getting offended by the wordings of many tracks. Recently, we have seen a section of people criticizing the lyrics of ‘Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava’ from Pushpa. Now, Acharya is also facing the same heat.

Recently, the makers of Acharya released the item number from the film. Titled ‘Saana Kashtam’, this song has become an instant chartbuster. However, it had hurt the feelings of RMP doctors.

There is a lyric in the song which goes like this… ‘Ededo Nimurochani Kurrollu RMPlu avuthunnaru…’ This particular line didn’t go well with the RMP doctors.

The State’s RMP Doctors Association opined that these lyrics are demeaning the professions of RMPs and PMPs. They have also filed a case against the makers and requested the cops to take strict action against the lyricist and director. They also demanded the team remove the objectionable lyrics from the song.

The makers of Acharya are yet to respond to the issue. Saana Kashtam has been written by Bhaskarabhatla and sung by Revanth and Geetha Madhuri. Mani Sharma composed the music of it.

Directed by Koratala Siva, Acharya features Megastar Chiranjeevi as the lead hero. Ram Charan plays a key role in it.
