After the stunning teaser, the much anticipated trailer of ‘Mahaan’ is out. Unlike the teaser which showed the grey shades of hero Chiyaan Vikram, the trailer begins with Vikram as Mahaan, an ordinary teacher at a government run school. His family depends on his salary and his wife, played by Simran, questions him even when Rs 50 is missing from his salary.
But Mahaan is the son of an activist who fought against liquor and society expects a lot from him. Guess what Mahaan becomes the syndicate of liquor business in the whole of Tamil Nadu and it was the turn of Dhruv Vikram.
The younger Vikram looks absolutely terrific. In the scenes where the father and son confront each other, it’s a feast for fans. Dhruv seems to be a cop in the movie as his role was packed with a punch of suspense. The trailer is clearly a father and son’s show.
‘Mahaan’ is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and the film is getting an OTT release on Amazon Prime from February 10th. The film will have a Telugu version as well.
