Nadigar Sangam: Vishal, Nasser & Karthi Repeats Victory

After two long years, the counting of the South Indian Artiste’s Association (SIAA) aka Nadigar Sangam election votes was done the other day.

These elections were held in 2019 but the counting was halted due to a legal battle.

Meanwhile, hero Vishal and actor Nasser-led Pandavar Ani have become victorious in those elections. Their rival team “Swami Sankaradas Ani”, led by actor Bhagyaraj and producer Ishari K. Ganesh, ended up being defeated in the polls.

Nasser, who contested for the President’s post got 1701 votes while Bhagyaraj secured 1054 votes. Actor Vishal, who contested for the General Secretary’s post defeated producer Ishari K Ganesh by a good margin.

Actor Karthi has been elected as the treasurer. Actors Karunas and Poochi Murugan were elected vice-presidents of the Nadigar Sangam.

Pandavar Ani won the previous elections as well. This will be their second tenure in the dominant positions of the Nadigar Sangam. They are happy winning the polls after two years of the legal battle.
